In only a few short days, Adobe has officially launched the Creative Cloud, has showing signs of compromising regarding both the cost and program retention, and seen the first cracked version of the ‘uncrackable’ hit the streets. I most definitely do not condone piracy, but I also didn’t think the new cloud model would see it end. As for the new compromise, Adobe appears to be rewarding new customers at the expense of their current customers!
The article states with a three year commitment to CC you would be provided a permanent license to CS6. This is only a benefit if you are either a new customer, or a current owner of a CS version prior to version 6. Those of us who have maintained regular upgrades….get nothing if we were to leave the cloud after 3 years. What has happened to the concept of customer loyalty?
